FitVideo

Add your watermark to a video.

Put your logo, name or phone number on every frame of a video, in the corner you choose. It happens in your browser, so the video is never uploaded, and we never add a watermark of our own.

How to add a watermark to a video

  1. Drop your video in. Watermark is already selected.
  2. Choose Logo and pick your logo file, or choose Text and type your name, website or phone number (up to 50 characters).
  3. For text, pick the font, colour and background. Then choose the corner, size and opacity, and check the live preview. Pause the video on any frame to see how it looks there.
  4. Press “Add watermark” and save the MP4.

The video keeps its original size and sound. You can pick Trim, Rotate or Remove sound as well, and everything happens in one step. Your watermark settings are remembered on your device, so the next video takes one click.

Logo or text?

  • Logo: a PNG with a transparent background looks most professional. A small or medium size in a corner protects your work without covering it.
  • Text: best for a name, website or phone number people should read. Modern bold on a dark box is the easiest to read on busy footage; no box with a soft shadow is the most subtle.
  • Opacity: 80–90% stays readable; 30–50% is a quiet mark that’s harder to notice but still there.

Who uses video watermarks?

  • Estate and letting agents: walkthrough videos with the agency name and number. For photo slideshows, the property video maker has the same watermark.
  • Creators and small businesses: a logo on clips before they’re reshared.
  • Photographers and videographers: proofs sent to clients before the final files.
  • Teachers and trainers: a name or course title on recorded lessons.

Private by design

Most online watermark tools upload your video, and many add their own logo unless you pay. FitVideo draws your watermark on your own device, never uploads the video, and never adds any branding of its own.

Making the file smaller too? Add the watermark here, then use the compressor on the result.

Questions

How do I add a watermark to a video for free?

Drop the video in, choose Logo or Text, set the corner, size and opacity, and press Add watermark. It’s free with no sign-up.

Will FitVideo add its own watermark?

No, never. Only your own logo or text is added, and only when you choose it.

Can I change the font and colour?

Yes. For text, choose modern bold, modern regular or classic serif; white, dark or your own colour; and a dark box, a light box or no background.

Does adding a watermark lower the quality?

The video is re-encoded at high quality and the original size, so the difference is very hard to see. Keep your original if you need an untouched copy.

Is the sound kept?

Yes, unless you also pick Remove sound.

Can I trim, rotate or remove the sound at the same time?

Yes. Pick Watermark and any of Trim, Rotate and Remove sound, and they all happen in one step.

How long does it take?

It depends on the length and your computer. A short clip takes seconds; long or 4K videos can take a few minutes.

Can I remove a watermark from a video?

No. FitVideo only adds your own watermark; it doesn’t remove other people’s.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs inside your browser and uses your device’s own video encoder. Your file is read from your device, processed there and saved back. You can confirm this in your browser’s network panel: nothing is sent while a video is processed.

Which browsers does it work in?

It works best in Chrome and Edge on a computer. It needs a browser feature called WebCodecs. If your browser doesn’t have it, the page tells you before you start.
