Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
The short version
Your videos and photos never leave your device. We don’t ask for an account, and we don’t collect your name or email unless you write to us. The site shows ads from Google, which use cookies; in the UK and EEA we ask for your consent first.
Who we are
This site is run by A. Gopi, trading as FitVideo (“we”), 12A Kinnegar Avenue, Holywood, BT18 9JR, United Kingdom. A. Gopi is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For anything about privacy, contact admin@fitvideo.app.
Your files
All processing happens inside your browser. Files you choose are read from your device, processed there, and saved back to your device. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else, and we cannot see them.
What we collect
- Usage statistics. If analytics are enabled, we record anonymous events such as which tool was used, whether a job finished, and broad file-size ranges. We never record file names or file contents.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability, usually for a short period.
- Emails. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply and for our records.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy and cookie settings” in the footer.
The site also stores a few small preferences in your browser that are needed for it to work. These don’t track you.
Legal bases
We rely on your consent for advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interests for security logs and anonymous statistics that help us keep the tools working.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and similar laws you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
